The College has developed and implemented a safety programme for the protection of all staff, students and other visitors to our campuses. In addition to expanded cleaning and sanitizing processes, all persons attending our locations will have their temperature taken prior to being able to enter our premises.
04 April 2020 Update

25 Mar 2020 Update
As of 25 March 2020, the College has moved temporarily to a blended learning model. There will not be physical classes at the campus until further notice. Students should interact with the College via telephone, email and the Canvas learning management system. This approach is consistent with the direction received from the relevant government agencies. Education staff will provide further details to students about the temporary learning modes.
The College extends our sympathy to all those affected by this situation.
31 January 2020 Update
Effective from 31 January 2020, until further notice, in the interest staff and student safety, the College requires that any student or staff member returning to Australia following a visit to China is not to attend the College for a period of 14 days following arrival in Australia.
Any affected students must contact the College, to make suitable alternative study arrangements. Students will not be disadvantaged if they are required to take sick leave. They should contact the College if they are required to self isolate and we will make alternate arrangements for them to study from home while they are away, or support them with catch up flexible learning on their return.
Our priority is to protect the health and wellbeing of everyone within the College community. As such, we are acting in line with the latest Government advice and putting policies and procedures in place to minimise risk, while maintaining as best we can, and for as long as we can, an effective experience for our current students, prospective students, staff and agents.
At this time, we am relieved to report that we do not have any cases of coronavirus within our College community. Rest assured we are monitoring this situation constantly, and, should we see a confirmed case, we will act decisively based on the latest Government-endorsed health advice.
For now we remain open and working in a normal manner as we make sensible adjustments. We are conscious there will be individual concerns regarding health and wellbeing, and these can be addressed through our departmental main contacts: Apoorva for Trainer and Student Support, and Robyn for Staff Support.
Staff and strudents should contact their GP by phone to see how their personal health should be managed and if they are required to be tested and / or self isolate for 14 days.
Some immediate activities to protect our community include:
- Disinfectant keyboard wipes and hand sanitisers placed in relevant places on our campus.
- Significant and visible advice on good hand hygiene and where to go for help.
- Review of our waste disposal processes and facilities management activities, including cleaning.
- Instructions for student-facing services on how to support our students.
- Instructions for managers on how to support our staff.
Keeping you informed
We will keep staff, students and agents informed on a regular basis, as events unfold and our response progresses via this page, accessible from the banner on our website. Please ensure you check emails and the website banner regularly and use the information to support yourselves, colleagues, students and family.
Given all the news and social media coverage, we know this may appear to be extremely challenging given many voices and points of view, not all of which are well-informed. However with an evidence-based approach and forward thinking, The College is confident we will all navigate the evolving situation.
