Born in the Netherlands with more that 30 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry as a culinary director and director of food and beverage. Leading large culinary teams within luxury 5-star hotels comprising of multiple outlets, in Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, New Zealand and Australia with leading hospitality brands including HYATT, MARRIOTT, IHG, ACCOR. Michelin star and hatted restaurant experience and a wide knowledge in culinary techniques and sustainability within food operations. Experience as a trainer and assessor with leading training organisations. Privileged to have travelled the world and learn not only the culinary history of different nations, but also learn about their cultures. Having been trained and coached by true professionals, I put an immense focus on quality training and support to prepare students and help them to be ready to enter the workplace within this fantastic industry. In my spare time I love to spend time on another great passion of mine, which is photography and also love to unwind riding my beloved Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe through the countryside.
