You'll study how to promote independence and well-being, as well as gain a variety of technical skills and transferrable abilities such as communication and teamwork. This specialised course will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to encourage community involvement and social inclusion for people with impairments. What to study next?

Students who successfully complete this course may progress onto other courses such as the Diploma of Community Services, Diploma of Business, Diploma of Leadership and Management, or the Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management.

Upon successful completion of the 13 units of competency in this course, students will be issued the Certificate III Individual Support qualification.

If a student does not complete the full qualification but has successfully achieved units, a Statement of Attainment will be issued upon request by the student, indicating the units completed
